Dropped my Nokia mobile in the sea! Any suggestions?
I dropped by mobile into the sea, it was a good mins before we managed to fish it out and i immediately took out the sim card which worked fine on my friends mobile and the battery. I immersed it in tap water for a few minutes to try and get rid of the salt and then left the back off and left it to air dry overnight. Unfortunately today it wont work, the side lights come on but not the rest of the phone. Is there anything else I can do? do i need to leave it a bit longer before I give up on it?

I once left my phone in the washing machine for a lovely full cycle, and I gave it up for dead but still carried it in my pocket and after three days it came back to life... give that a go. Maybe not in your pocket, but stick it somewhere warm, like the airing cupboard. Its worth a shot! Come to think of it, I did that twice... it survived the first time but not the second!
